Conversion of CGPI to Percentage

As per University Circular no. Exam/ENGG./720 of 2015

It is difficult to give a single conversion formula for the entire range from 4 to 10. therefore two formulae are proposed to be applicable in a particular range of CGPI. Following conversion formulae be used in the range from 4 to 7 and 7 to 10 CGPI.

CGPI TO PERCENTAGE CONVERSION FORMULA FOR THE TEN POINT SCALE IN FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY OF UNIVERSITY OF MUMBAI Percentage (%) = 7.1 * CGPI + 12 ; IF CGPI is less than 7 Percentage (%) = 7.4 * CGPI + 12 ; IF CGPI is greater than  and equal to 7 The percentage can be calculated using above formula and rounded to the Next Full integer.
